The City of Boroondara has a long rich heritage of both indigenous and European settlement. It was originally part of the hunting grounds of a Wurundjeri clan of the Woiwurrung people, before the first European contact in 1803 when a survey party lead by Charles Grimes sailed up the Yarra River, past Dight’s Falls and travelled inland to what is now Studley Park.

Highly regarded for its leafy streets, parks and gardens, schools and heritage buildings, the City of Boroondara is a great place to live.
