Each of the Boroondara Libraries had an exhibition of WWI memorabilia during April 2015.

Ashburton display: As this area was largely rural during WWI, the display at Ashburton was general in nature.

This display concentrated on Alfred Charles Bignell and members of the Mawson family, all of whom had long-term associations in the area close to the Balwyn Library. Alf established a dairy in Parring Road, Balwyn after WWI.

Camberwell display: As well as the focal wall display opposite the main entrance, there were 3 cases covering a variety of aspects of WWI and its impact on life on the home front.

There were two display cases at Hawthorn Library. The one in the local history room contained items of WWI uniform on loan from Colin Robinson of the Victorian Re-enactment Society. In the main library the display case featured two stories with local links.

For the Kew Library display Robert utilised two display cases for a display of memorabilia relating to the campaign and the home front.
